Gifts of bibles, clothing, shoes, reading and writing books, school supplies, and computers bound for Sierra Leone, West Africa. Folks, this is our fifth trip to the West African republic of Sierra Leone. A country about  the size of South Carolina, with a population of about six million people. A country recovering from twelve years of brutal civil war. Friends, the boxes as depicted on the pictures are on it way to Sierra Leone. Our tradition at Sierra Care has been that we travel to Sierra Leone, team up with our partners-The Great Commission formerly Campus Crusade to strategize on our common mission of reaching out to the most vulnerable people of Sierra Leone with great compassion, while sharing the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Christmas, the most celebrated event ever on planet earth. A time of gifts sharing, a time of reflection on that very cold winter in Bethlehem, that indeed,  THE KING has been born. The wise men brought gifts of Gold, Frankincense, and Myrrh. You know the rest of the story.   John, in his first Epistle clearly described what he called the “The Outworking of Love”. John 3: 17 But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him.

Folks, you can be a part of this mission. You can pray for us. Your tax deductible donation will help us to also provide food for the war-affected amputees this Christmas. You can donate online or send a check to Sierra Care  Inc. at 1129 Weston Drive Garland, TX 75034.
