Africa has  many amputees due to landmines, firing arms, grenades to name a few.

Sierra Leone is a small coastal country in West Africa with a population of about  six million people, rich in natural resources such as diamonds, gold, titanium, bauxite, iron ore, ilmenorutile, platinum, chromite, manganese, cassiterite, molybdenite, as well as forests, abundant fresh water and rich offshore fishing grounds. Instead of being a blessing to its people, the natural resources have resulted in a brutal war that lasted for eleven years and left many amputations, maiming of women, men, children and even the limbs of babies.

Friends, the war of arms is over in Sierra Leone  but the war on entrenched poverty is taking a tremendous toll on these amputees. The wheelchairs that was provided five years ago are dilapidated, the prosthetics are no longer in good shape, despair–food been the main cause,  forced these folks in the streets to beg and a place to sleep is challenging.

Well, we at Sierra Care have taken the lead to bring hope and the love of Jesus Christ to these war-affected amputees but we need your support to help us deliver two 20-feet containers containing 100 wheelchairs, new and used clothing, shoes, toys, Christian reading literature  including bibles, school supplies and food to the amputees in Sierra Leone.
